Meet the Staff

Ryan has over 15 years of experience in all aspects of golf course maintenance and administration. Ochs is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Horticulture, Production Management with a concentraion in Turf Grass Management. He is a member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) and the Midwest Association of Golf Course Superintendents (MAGCS).

Cole has over 20 years of experience in this industry, including golf instructions and administration.  He has worked with players of all ages and abilities.  Cole has taught a number of golf clinics and was the lead instructor for the Highland Park Golf Academy.  Cole will oversee the day-to-day operations at the course and clubhouse.

Rob has been a PGA member since 1992 and the Sunset Valley Golf Professional since 1999. His teaching philosophy deals with getting players to understand how to make solid contact and create the desired shot. Rob customizes his instruction to accommodate each player’s unique swing.
