North Shore Amateur Golf Tournament

Since 1956, thousands of Chicagoland’s greatest amateur golfers have competed at the annual golf tournament. Join us for two days of lively competition with golfers from throughout northern Illinois as they play for the honor of the game and the win!
Entry Fee:
$195
(includes 2 rounds of tournament play, lunch both days, and a tee gift)
- All entries must be received no later than Wednesday, July 15, 2026 and must include an updated 2026 USGA Handicap Index.
- Refunds for any withdrawals may be issued no later than Wednesday, July 15, 2026 (minus a $25 processing fee).
- The Tournament Committee has the right to approve or reject any application.
Starting times will be emailed to each applicant by Monday, July 20, 2026.

Divisions:
Tournament field is limited to 168 players and divided into four separate divisions:
• Championship Division (recommended handicap of 4 or less)
• Open Division (recommended handicap of 5 or more)
• Senior Division (age 65+)
• Women’s Division
Play:
36-hole stroke play (gross score)
• Championship Division – Black Tees (6700 yards)
• Open Division – Blue Tees (6400 yards)
• Senior Division – White Tees (6000 yards)
• Women’s Division – Red Tees (5400 yards)
Tee Times / Pairings:
• Tee times begin at 7am both days
• Pairings for Wednesday’s round may be requested or otherwise will be assigned by the tournament committee based on course handicaps.
• Pairings for Thursday’s round will be based on Wednesday’s gross score and broken down into Flights. Ties will go off as determined by the tournament committee. The Championship Division will tee off last.
Lowest gross score over 36-holes in the Championship Division wins the North Shore Amateur.
